For the past two years, she has been working as an HR Advisor at CoverWorks, supporting employees and managers with a wide range of HR questions. But her role goes beyond the day-to-day. A key part of her work is helping people develop, so they can grow in their roles and contribute to the development of CoverWorks as an organisation.
What first attracted her to CoverWorks was the fact that things are actually being made here. Design, development and craftsmanship all happen under one roof, bringing together people with very different roles, skills and perspectives.
And those different perspectives are exactly what she enjoys most.
Everyone looks at challenges in their own way, creating new insights and making sure no two days are the same. There may be meetings and appointments in the diary, but there is always something unexpected that needs attention.
What she didn’t know before joining CoverWorks was how people-focused the organisation would be. There is an open culture where people are encouraged to share their ideas, contribute their perspective and be heard.
