Every step of the way

Innovation starts with understanding people. Not with materials, machines or technology, but with improving the everyday experience of those who rely on the product. To achieve this, we at CoverWorks created the D3 approach: Design, Develop, Deliver.

This approach forms the foundation of every CoverWorks project. Partnering with us means more than having a product manufactured. It means being guided and supported throughout the entire process, from the first conversation about the project requirements to the moment the product is ready to be installed, with every step in between managed through a collaborative, multi-stakeholder approach.

We’ve got you covered

CoverWorks operates within three specialised divisions: Luxury, Health and Industry. Each division applies the D3 method to solve sector-specific challenges with precision, care and technical expertise. Part of our Luxury division, the Pilot Seat is designed to elevate comfort, control and experience at the helm.

D3 · DESIGN

Charting new waters

Every pilot seat starts with understanding the vessel’s design language and the intentions behind it. We translate project requirements, design preferences and brand identity into a clear  design direction, balancing aesthetics, ergonomics and functionality.

From the very first sketch, shape, proportions and materials are carefully defined to align with the character of the yacht. Every line, surface and detail is considered to ensure the seat feels like a natural extension of its environment.

The result is a pilot seat designed to look right and belong on board, fully aligned with the overall vessel concept.

D3 · DEVELOP

Setting the course

Once the design direction is set, ideas are translated into precise digital 3D models. This allows us to refine aesthetics, ergonomics and construction in detail, long before production begins.

Every component, from the seat shell to upholstery and armrests, is developed with accuracy and intent. Prototypes bring the design to life, making comfort, proportions and detailing tangible and adjustable.

Through modelling, testing and feedback, the pilot seat evolves into a refined balance of form, function and craftsmanship.

D3 · DELIVER

Anchoring excellence

Once every detail is approved, production begins. Each pilot seat is carefully fabricated using premium materials, refined constructions and skilled craftsmanship, ensuring durability in demanding marine environments.

Whether for a single vessel or a full series, we manage the entire process, from production and quality control to logistics and delivery. Every step is handled with the same attention to detail as the design itself.

The result is a bespoke pilot seat that combines lasting performance with refined comfort and unmistakable luxury. Delivered with care, built for life at the helm.

A seat for smooth sailing

A CoverWorks pilot seat is neither form over function nor function over form. It’s simply both. A statement of craftsmanship, comfort and design, created to support those at the helm.

Designed with vision.
Developed with precision.
Delivered with confidence.

We make it happen.
