We’ve got you covered

Every CoverWorks seat follows our D3 approach: Design, Develop, Deliver. A clear, structured way of working that supports confident decisions and reliable outcomes, with one dedicated partner managing every step of the process.

Design

Every One Off starts with the architect’s design language. Sometimes fully developed, sometimes defined only by volume and placement within the yacht’s layout. In close collaboration with the yacht architect, we analyze geometry, ergonomics, proportions and material intent. We visualize, refine and ensure feasibility without altering the integrity of the design.

One takeoff

Specific requirements, such as adjustability or spatial limitations, sharpen the creative process. They push design and engineering to work in harmony from the very beginning, ensuring the seat integrates seamlessly within the yacht’s architectural identity.

Develop

One dialogue

With One Off projects, Design and Develop move in constant dialogue. Because each concept is unique, there is no fixed production route to follow. Instead, designers and developers refine the seat together, testing feasibility, adjusting proportions and resolving technical challenges as they arise.

Prototypes are created and evaluated to assess comfort, ergonomics and detailing. Materials are validated, constructions adjusted and visual balance reconsidered where necessary. In most cases, production techniques such as advanced 3D printing replace mold-based methods, allowing greater flexibility without the investment of large-scale tooling.

Deliver

One final product

Once approved, production begins under strict control of quality, planning and execution. Whether it concerns a single installation on a superyacht or a fully custom seating concept tailored to the identity of a specific vessel, we manage manufacturing, quality control and logistics from start to finish.

Within our One Off series, the custom cinema seat stands out as a project that truly challenged the entire D3 process. Its architectural complexity, technical requirements and spatial constraints demanded close collaboration between design and development at every stage. The final result not only fulfilled the client’s vision, but also strengthened our own expertise.

From first concept to final installation, every One Off represents a shared journey between client, architect and CoverWorks, unique in outcome and refined in execution.

We make it happen.
