Jeroen and Gerhard first crossed paths on the water as professional sailors, each collecting several world titles before joining forces under the name CoverWorks in 2004. Gerhard had already laid the foundation in 2000, freelancing in a sail repair shop in Muiderberg and registering his own business. With a workshop in The Hague, a growing customer base and Jeroen officially on board in 2010, the company quickly began to take shape.
What started as a small workshop producing boat covers and spray hoods has grown into a global player. Today, CoverWorks delivers high-end projects worldwide, serving not only the maritime sector but also healthcare and industry. The company manages far more than product manufacturing — taking on engineering, development and supply chain management for prestigious clients.
Ambition and innovation drive the business forward. With a flat, approachable culture, CoverWorks embraces improvement and continuous development, a mindset rooted in their sailing careers. Looking ahead, Jeroen and Gerhard aim to position CoverWorks as the world’s leading Design, Develop, Deliver partner for textile solutions and seating by 2035.
